Master Chefs cook up a storm in the heart of the Square Mile
iShares teamed up with the recent winner and runner-up of the Masterchef TV series to host a live culinary event in the heart of the Square Mile. On Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th May, Dhruv Baker and Alex Rushmer used their creative culinary flair to help bring to life the role that iShares ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) can play in constructing successful investment portfolios. The event set out to create a buzz amongst the very people that this new fund is targeted at – bankers, investors and fund managers.
Samples of the three different dishes were distributed to the target audience along with leaflets containing further information on iShares. A team of demo staff promoted the activity at the nearest tube stations each morning.
Both events reached an impressive 11,000 people through leafletting alone and there were a further 4,600 interactions at the rig over both days.
